Apple's latest iOS update enables voice-based ChatGPT interaction through CarPlay, bringing conversational AI directly into the car dashboard for the first time through an official Apple integration.

The feature allows drivers to engage with ChatGPT using natural voice commands while driving, without needing to look at or touch the screen. Users can ask questions, request summaries of articles or emails, brainstorm ideas, or get contextual assistance — all through the same voice interface that powers Siri in the car. The integration builds on Apple's existing partnership with OpenAI, which previously brought ChatGPT capabilities to Siri on iPhone and Mac.
