WordCamp Asia 2026 Brings AI and Enterprise Focus to Mumbai
The WordPress community's largest Asian gathering draws thousands to Mumbai for sessions on AI integration, enterprise workflows, and open-source development.
WordCamp Asia 2026 wrapped up in Mumbai, India this week (April 9-11), bringing together thousands of developers, designers, and business leaders for the WordPress community's flagship Asian event.
This year's program reflected the growing intersection of CMS platforms and AI capabilities. Sessions covered AI-powered content generation, automated site optimization, intelligent search, and enterprise-grade WordPress deployments that increasingly rely on machine learning for personalization and performance.
The enterprise track drew particular interest, with presentations on scaling WordPress for high-traffic applications, headless architectures, and integrating WordPress with modern developer workflows including CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.
India's selection as host underscores the country's expanding role in the global open-source ecosystem. The Indian WordPress community is among the largest in Asia, and Mumbai's tech sector provided a natural audience for discussions about how AI is reshaping web development, content strategy, and digital publishing at scale.
